Product Description
My mother cooked, cleaned, and watched her daily shows. Dad listened to sports on his pocket radio while lounging in his favorite chair. Their conversations rarely went any deeper than “Dinner's ready,” and “I'm off to work.” Yet, they both agreed that their relationship was perfect—and they were almost right. They were two perfect strangers living in the same house. The spark in their marriage was gone, and like the couple in “Recalling Jenny,” it would've taken a lot more than a mere spark to re-ignite their passion for one another. What they needed was a bolt of lightning.

About the Author

Stories by Avery Elzmyth have appeared in college magazines, anthologies, and on-line publications. He recently took second place in an ultra-short story contest hosted by Maine's Barnacle Magazine, made Honorable Mention in a World Poetry Contest, and took first prize in a poetry contest way back in the eighth grade. His love of writing became evident in the third grade, when his teacher allowed him to read his stories to the class, but Avery's true passion for storytelling didn't fully blossom until his early thirties, upon which he returned to school to help hone his writing skills. At age fifty-one, and still pursuing an associate's degree, Avery currently works as a die cutter to support his writing habit. “I don't need a lot of money,” he says, “because I don't really live here. I live in my stories, where fantasy and magic can take me across the universe and into different dimensions, where love and hate can sometimes reach supernova proportions, and where the heroes and their journeys always go way beyond our human limitations.” Avery has experienced many tragedies throughout his life--too numerous and too personal to mention here. His stories of the fantastic, and just plain weird, helps him to escape the harshness of reality from time to time. He hopes his readers will also take a break from reality, and enjoy coming along with him on his incredible flights of fancy.
