I have been an active participant in the Zoetrope.com writing workshop for many years. One day, while driving to Laughlin, Nevada from Jamul, California, I noticed a license plate XEN something or other. As I was driving, Xen struck me as a character's name … probably an outsider (as in Xeno). I spent the rest of the trip playing different plots through my head for this character. It was about the fourth plot that caught my fancy, so I wrote the story. At the end, I decided upon the title since by then, I knew what the story was about.

Brad Lyonn is happily retired after too many years of servitude to the almighty dollar. He began writing in some degree of earnest after discovering that Zoetrope web site accepted submissions for review and possible consideration by Francis Ford Coppola. After many submissions and subsequent reviews, Brad selected 13 of his most favorably reviewed stories and produced an anthology titled Journey. Brad is also interested in 3D modeling and has a number of models available at Renderosity.com under blyonn. In addition, Brad has submitted a number of short animations to Youtube.com and Revver.com.
