5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Resource, December 10, 2001
By W. Rudd (Michigan USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Great annual guide which statistically breaks down the 2001 season. There is no commentary just pure stats which speak for themselves. Every player who appeared in the Major Leagues is in there. If you are interested in whose season was killed by a few bad months, who tailed off very badly at the end, who's stats were inflated by a home park advantage this is the book for you. If you would rather have some else look at this same stats and summerize the season in a couple of sentances wait for the annual magazines that come out. If you want to decide for your self then grab it. If you like stats it will be something you look forward to every year.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Batting/Pitching Stats, but nothing for fielding., August 10, 1998
By zythym@yahoo.com (Heidelberg, Germany) - See all my reviews
The stats for pitching and batting are everything you could ask for, but I don't understand why there is absolutely nothing on fielding. It doesn't even list the position that the players play next to their name. Why not?

1.0 out of 5 stars The most rotten book on the baseball stats market, April 26, 2001
By Geir (Oslo, Norway) - See all my reviews
I bought the book, so I could use it as a reference to last season's baseball action. But when I open the book, I see that only the batters with 325+ at bats has all of their statistics. The others has just Day/Night, Left/Right and a few of them has month-by-month's record. If you want to throw money out off the window, be my guest.

4.0 out of 5 stars a great book of stats, April 3, 1999
By A Customer
This book has almost every stat you can think of including teams and players. I think it should have some articles or stories in it.
