The ONLY thing to watch for is... not pressing on the middle (i.e., the thermometer) when installing.
Press only on top of the suction cups.
Of course, I read this and then proceeded to do it and snapped the thermometer.
They replaced for $5 -- a rare service in this day and age.
Install on the shady side of the house or your readings will be useless when sunny.
Otherwise, works great. I had one of these for 20 years until it looked junky from weathering.
Replaced, hoping for another 20.
